Challenge Three: Win them over by growing comfortable with the contradictions and complexity of women as a group, and then of the women's movement.
That's more than inclusive. It's also strategic. As Hofmann-Nemiroff points out, "None of us has the understanding, the skill or the inclination to fight on all fronts. What feminists of good faith must do is identify their individually chosen areas of struggle and work from there to form meaningful coalitions and strong networks of solidarity."
For the sake of their young women students, let's hope the professors lead by example.
